Site Rules *YOU MUST READ*:
1.) Swearing
You may swear, just not every other word. Keep it at a minimum, this is a kid's show after all.
2.) Characters
You are allowed to claim at least three characters, but only one being from the mane six. For original characters, you may have up to 20, but you have to use all of them. We can take them away from you if your activity goes down. *TO CLAIM A CANON CHARACTER YOU MUST HAVE AN OC FIRST AND ACTIVE FOR SOME TIME*
3. Applying for Characters
Please wait until you have at least 2-3 full pages of roleplaying or around 30 posts done with your previous character before you make another. It will get very stressful when we have twenty ponies that we haven't even seen yet, and then more come in.
4.) Roleplaying
When roleplaying, please use at least 200 words. No one likes when you're roleplaying but you don't know what to say next. You want them to react, not stall. So no one sentence stuff. Also, make sure you're using proper grammar and spelling words correctly. Other people want to understand what you're saying or trying to say. We would appreciate it if you told us if someone wasn't following this rule so we could notify them. After a verbal warning, we will warn your account.
5.) Your Magical Ponies
Your character may be in different threads at a time, but please don't get confused on where it is at.
6.) Unaccepted Characters
You are not aloud to roleplay until your character has been accepted. It get's annoying when people play with their unaccepted character. We check to make sure that your character isn't a Mary Sue or Gary Stu.
7.) No Powerplaying/Godmodding
This means no controlling other characters unless they say it's alright. (Only to move the plot though) No one likes playing with characters who take control of the entire situation to make it go their way.
8.) Attitudes
Please be respectful towards others. No one wants to watch an arguing match on this site. We are on technology, so you don't even know if you're hurting the other person you're talking to. SO BE NICE! Even the admins and moderators are going to be nice to you. If someone is being disrespectful towards you, please message RavynRay or MissFantastic. They will handle it.
9.) Spamming
This means no useless posts or double-posting (if you want to add more to a post, just edit it. If you did it by accident, hit that helpful 'Delete' button in the corner. It's there for a reason) and keep on topic. Don't post OOC messages in roleplay threads unless you need to change something on the topic.
10.) Being Absent
If you're going to be absent for a period of time, please go to the absence board so we know. We will save your characters and stop any thread they are in from proceeding. We can and will take your characters if you disappear unannounced for more than a month. If there is no sign of you being online within that month, your characters will be removed and your account will be deleted.
11.) Take Turns
Respect post orders! Most roleplays involve taking turns. If you're in a roleplay that does this, WAIT FOR YOUR TURN BEFORE POSTING.
12.) Respect Other People's Privacy
Respect private roleplays. If a roleplay is marked "closed", "private", "semi-open" or "complete" then you MAY NOT POST until the creator or a member has said you are allowed to.
13.) Signature Sizes
Any images or banners under posts must be under 600 pixels long and under 400 pixels high so that we save the boards from being stretched
14.) Update Your Bios
As your character gains relationships with other characters, we would like that you keep the bio of that character up to date.
15.) Spoiler Warnings
If another member has not seen an episode of MLP: FiM, we ask that you do not spoil it for them. This does mean no talking of the show in the chatbox and if your thread has spoilers in it, please clearly mark it as such.
16.) Archiving Threads
After two months of no activity, a thread will be marked as dead and be moved to the archives. This cannot be changed. The only reason we will ever get a thread from the archives is if a member that left comes back. You must contact a mod to revive a dead thread, though. There must also be a valid reason for us to move it back. A mod will decide if the thread should be moved back. If you feel their reason for not moving it back is invalid, contact RavynRay or MissFantastic and they will be the ultimate decision.
17.) Keep Your Username
This should be self explanatory but just in case. Use a username you plan on keeping. We will not condone the changing of usernames.
The Chatbox
The chatbox is a privilege and will be taken away if you do not follow the rules for it.
1.) No Spamming
This means, no sending multiple messages at a time, being annoying, or sending multiples of the same message.
2.) No Roleplaying in the Box
You're on a roleplaying forum. USE IT.
3.) Don't Break the Law
If you can't do it in real life, you can't do it here.
4.) Being Offensive
No discussing politics, religion, sex, violent matters or anything else that could bring up an argument with someone else or could be offensive.
5.) Admins
If an admin says silence, BE SILENT! If they tell you to stop something, STOP IT! You have been warned and will be warned again if you don't follow this rule.
6.) Be Nice
We expect everyone to at least act nice to the members even if you don't like them. If this rule isn't followed by another person, tell the admins or mods. That's what we're here for. And please, have some sort of proof.
As of this moment, these are all of the rules. We will add more as the need arises. For now, enjoy yourselves and ask questions (through a PM) if you have any.
